Tranquil (cello and piano)

Tranquil was written as a musical gift to Irene DeBoni, a long-time supporter of Canadian composers and commissioner of new works. It was also written with my longtime collaborators in mind: Beth Root Sandvoss (cello) and Susanne Ruberg-Gordon (piano) of Land’s End Ensemble. It’s a reflective work that expresses the beauty of simplicity and tranquility.
